Doctor Dre Victory Foundation Mission Statement:

The Doctor Dre Victory Foundation is a nonprofit that provides empowerment for people with disabilities including but not limited to blindness, for amputees, and for diabetics, through financial assistance and future workforce inclusion.

About the Victory Foundation’s Health and Wellness Fitness Challenge:

The Victory Foundation’s Health and Wellness Fitness challenge, led by Doctor Dre 39 who considers himself Super B.A.D. (a Blind, Amputee, Type II Diabetic). Doctor Dre’s uncontrolled diabetes led to his blindness and limb amputations. The Victory Foundation will construct a Health and Wellness Exercise Challenge that will become Doctor Dre’s call to action to better the lives of people who, like himself, suffer from Type II Diabetes and the long term effects of it.

Distribution of Contributions:

The cost of the devices and medical equipment necessary for navigating the world with diabetes or blindness, and for amputees, can be a significant burden on the people who need them. The Doctor Dre Foundation aims to ease this burden by offering financial assistance to people who need these devices and medical equipment for daily function and survival. Through the foundation people with low vision and/or blindness receive assistance towards the purchase of breakthrough visual Optical Character Recognition (OCR) technologies from companies like Orcam, NuEyes, Irisvision, and Pivothead. The Doctor Dre Foundation contributes to the limb loss community’s financial aid needs by helping to pay for prosthetics for children, adults, and veterans. Funding through the Doctor Dre Victory Foundation nonprofit contributes to the cost of diabetic devices, such as glucose meters, test strips, needles and lowering insulin costs.

Future Initiatives for the Victory Foundation:

Our three pronged approach for fundraising includes: putting on special events and activities, applying for grants, and collecting philanthropic contributions. Special events and viral social media challenges may be promoted through TikTok, Instagram, Riff, Fanbase, etc.

As the Victory Foundation grows we will create other events and virtual experiences that will raise funds to accomplish our goals as stated above.
